STORY
MEET THE FOUNDER
Trischa Splitter
I grew up surrounded by a lively menagerie where a deep-rooted passion for pets was ignited and inspired a lifelong dedication to their well-being.
Beyond capturing breathtaking portraits, I have volunteered with animal rescue organizations for over two decades, giving back to the community that has enriched my life immeasurably. Including giving me my own two bodacious mutts, Junebug and Olaf.
Through my lens, I strive to create timeless images that celebrate the extraordinary bond between humans and their beloved pets.
THE BACKSTORY
After Trischa’s dad died, her dog Olaf became her companion through grief, offering the kind of unconditional presence only animals seem to know how to give. He asked nothing of her. He stayed close. He accepted her exactly as she was.
That experience changed the way Trischa saw the bond between people and their pets, and deepened her belief that these relationships deserve to be celebrated with the same care and intention as any other meaningful family connection.
Junebug exists to honor the animals who comfort us, delight us, grow alongside us, and become part of who we are.
And the vision goes beyond the photographs. As Junebug grows, we hope to turn that love outward by supporting the shelters, rescues, animals, and organizations that make our Mid-Missouri community whole.
